This wasn’t our first time buying a home so while we had some prior experience and expectations, we did so during a very unique and challenging time. We started the process right at the start of COVID-19 (Feb 2020) and were hit with an endless series of challenges. Being a military family, I found myself in VA trying to buy a house while my wife was in another state trying to sell our old one. Because of these restrictions I never was able to travel back to assist in the selling nor could my family travel down to see new homes. Every step of the way Maura was always within reach going above and beyond helping us. She made time to ensure my wife and I knew everything, scheduled our appointments and navigated the constantly changing rules due to COVID. We trusted here to help us a second time when we moved again a few years later. Maura was and is one of the hardest working, most knowledgeable and motivated people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!

My full name is Maura Callan Bain, and my goal is to be“H2O” to you- Hardworking, Helpful, and hOnest.  Oh, and I am also a Hokie, just to throw in another “H”.  I am a double dipper from Va. Tech, having majored in Biochemistry and Veterinary Medicine.
