About Harry

Harry Schikora was born in Fairbanks, AK and has lived throughout Alaska. He joined Madden Real Estate in 2010 after having been previously licensed in Anchorage, AK with Marston Real Estate when living there during the early 1990's as well as Jack White Real Estate located in Anchorage in 2016. Formerly an Associate Broker that was licensed in Alaska and formerly Luxury Team Leader at Keller Williams Cabo Paradise in Los Cabos, Mexico. Harry is currently licensed as a Broker in Baja California Sur with Mijangos Real Estate.

He has enjoyed the beautiful Baja lifestyle for over 40 years after his first trip visiting in 1974 with his family, and loves the culture.Harry enjoys both the Baja living, easy lifestyle and visiting his children plus family in Alaska during the summers.  Having gone to school K-6 in the Mexican school system in Los Barriles, Harry reads, writes and speaks fairly fluent English and Spanish, plus is familiar with the Mexican customs and culture. In 2008 Harry purchased the East Cape bar Buzzards Bay Cantina in Los Barriles, a popular 'Cheers' style hangout that boasted "The Coldest Beer& Best Burgers in Baja!"

Harry's in depth real estate experience is evident by his being a former Associate Broker in Alaska, named as Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®) by the National Association of Realtors® in the United States. Previously active in sales on both sides of the border, Harry is a member ofthe National Association of Realtors®, the Los Cabos Multiple Listing Service plus Los Cabos Board of Realtors, known as AMPI as a member of the board of directors. Harry passed CONOCER Professional Real Estate training, which recognizes him through the Secretary of Public Education, as a federally certified real estate professional capable and competent to do real estate transactions in all 32 states of the Republic of Mexico. Harry has also earned the GUILD level ~ CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) designation from the Luxury Home Marketing Institute.

Besides real estate, Harry has a passion for golf, fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, travel and many other outdoor activities. Like so many who adopt this Los Cabos lifestyle, he is really enjoying his "Living the Dream"!
