About Bethany

As former manager broker of Engel & Völkers Asheville and current managing broker of Engel & Völkers Venice & Sarasota luxury real estate is my pasison and I continue to seek ways to level up the service I provide through education, community connections, contract negotiation and attention to detail. In additon to offering services on the Gulf Coast of Florida (Sarasota and Venice) I continue to serve clients from Florida's Space Coast south through Vero Beach as I spent many years in that area.  Lastly I serve Western North Carolina ( Asheville) and surrounding areas along with my partners, Jens and Courtney.

Prior to real estate I worked as a Regional Director in international student exchange.  This experience solidified my love for travel, diversity and continued learning and growing.  I have found that my time living and working abroad in Hungary and Mexico, along with extensive travel had given me an edge when it comes to navagating and negotiating cross cultural differences with a real estate tranaction and I'm grateful not only what those experiences have added to my business but also what it added to my personal growth.

In my free time, it's not unusual to find me planning vacations around where my colleagues around the US are located as enjoy networking and building relations.  Those relationships serve as a huge asset to my clients who are looking outside of my market areas.  Aside from that I simply love travel, networking,trying new foods, taking long walks on the beach, hiking to waterfalls, throwing parties and anything to do with mid-century modern architecture, furnishing and decor.
