Join the Division

Real Luxury Division has partnered with The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing to manage the Division’s application and training process while providing top-tier professional development and career growth opportunities through The Institute. Please read the instructions and sales requirements below before creating your account with The Institute. You will have 30 days from the date you create your account to submit your Real Luxury Division Application. By creating an account with The Institute, you consent to The Institute sharing your account and application data with the Real Luxury Division.

How to join the Real Luxury Division:

  1. Create your Institute account and access your Institute Portal.
    • You will automatically go to the Real Luxury Application.

  2. Submit the Real Luxury Application
    • Upload six (6) transactions with supporting documentation to complete your application and automatically place your application for review.
    • Allow up to ten (10) business days to receive the final application review status email.
    • Final approval is required to register for the Real Luxury Online course.

  3. Pay Real Luxury Division Membership Fee
    • Pay your Real Luxury Division Membership after application approval.

  4. Enroll in the Real Luxury Online Course
    • You will have 30 days to complete the Real Luxury Online course.
    • If you choose not to complete your application will be canceled.

  5. Complete the Real Luxury Online Course
    • Course completion immediately activates your first year of membership with Real Luxury Division and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
    • Designations are awarded upon course completion with final written approval.

Annual Real Luxury Membership
  • $950 annual renewal

  • Course Enrollment and Membership with The Institute

    The Institute's Real Luxury Online course registration fee is $545. The first year of Institute membership fees are included in the registration fee and the membership is activated upon course completion.

    Institute Members maintain their membership with The Institute and maintain earned designations by paying an annual renewal fee of $295.

    Submit six (6) Qualified Transactions that meet each of the following:

    • The six (6) Closed Dates are within the last 24 months before submitting your application.
    • The Sold Price is at or above the CLHMS™ threshold, and is not below $750,000 USD ($1M CAD).
    • Transaction Status is Closed.
    • The property type is Single Family Residential, to include townhome, or condominium single units
      • PROPERTY TYPES THAT DO NOT QUALIFY
        • Multi-Family properties
        • Unimproved land/lots
        • Multiple Lots
        • Commercial properties
    • You can be the Listing Agent, the Buyer's Agent, or a co-agent!
      • At least half of your transactions should be Listing Side.
      • If an applicant was both the Listing Agent and Buyer's Agent (double-ended) for a single transaction, the property transaction will only qualify as ONE transaction for the purpose of this application.
    • Submit Supporting Documentation for each transaction as a PDF file. Supporting documentation requirements will be outlined on the application.
